After a night's rest and a major early afternoon review session I feel less disgusted than I did last night. I only had two plays I was completely dissatisfied with throughout that session. One spot I shoved a medium pair a bit too wide UTG, and I know I did it because I was timing out. It's a spot I'd prefer to do something else with. And another spot I thought it looked like a shove over a limper, and it was close, but I prefer a fold because people are just going to be calling way too light for that play to be profitable in that particular spot.
I also crunched some numbers last night, nothing I'm going to end up posting I've decided, but I did notice that DoNs may be the best option for me in terms of financial results, especially when considering the FPP accumulation. I'm still going to plug away with 9 mans for the remainder of this month, but if I'm not satisfied with my results and seeing true improvements to the effect that I can start killing the level that I'm at and show prospects for moving up, I may switch to DoNs.
It would require me to do some training at a lower buy-in of the DoNs before moving to the level I'd be staying at for the remainder of June, and I hear the DoNs are quite reg-infested at all hours of the day now, so it may possibly be more of a grind than I'd prefer. I also think I'm very close to being where I'd like to be at with 9 mans in terms of achievable hourly and ROI. Once I hit my plateau I'd be more comfortable stepping into a continuous play mode at 9mans, something I'd be comfortable doing at DoNs from the start, at which point I'd be able to increase my hourly assuming my play stayed consistent.
I'm looking forward to putting in a ton of sessions today. It's Saturday so the games should be extra good, as usual. I'm gonna pass up on jogging today as I'm a bit sore so I think I'll just recuperate over the next couple days and hit it up again Monday. I've also been doing some push-ups and sit-ups here and there, I've got the P90x program to do also but I have to get the equipment first. With my girlfriend's job change coming up she'll have more free evenings so I'm hoping she'll feel like working out with me. It makes things more enjoyable to have a partner.
Now I'm gonna go get some food, get cleaned up, and hit the tables. GL.
