Considering all of the free time I have available and what little I have to show for it as far as productivity goes, I need to look into new hobbies. I've found a niche with regards to the SNGs I'm playing right now and starting to feel a little more secure in that regard, but I'm feeling as though putting in a somewhat limited volume for the remainder of this month will be optimal. This is for a few reasons.
First, it gives me time to plan goals I want to achieve over the next four months. The current heatwave is putting a damper on my jogging routine, but I'm looking forward to it cooling off later this week so I can hopefully get some miles in. I also have various volume goals to lay out; seeing what is realistically possible over the next four months, while scheduling around getting the hell out and going on some adventures.
Second, September is going to be an isolation month of sorts. I'm going to be focusing very hard on the volume aspect once again. It's just going to be more of what works for my schedule as far as good poker playing hours, or when I most enjoy logging sessions, which is generally on the weekends because the games are the best.
I also want to begin and learn a side game. I've always talked about wanting to transition into cash, but I think the best option for getting into cash right now would be PLO. I think my understanding of NLH is at a point where I can take that and mold a great PLO game, and in turn have the PLO game open my eyes to some things I may not have realized about NLH. I'm going to work out more details on this latter, it will likely be a hobby filler. No excuse not to learn another money-making hobby.
