Challenge On

I've been wanting to do something like this for awhile. I've got some time to do it, the urge to do it, and sort of a reason to do it. I'm at a point where I want to wipe out my student loans and become debt free, and I feel like it would be a great time to rebuild in a very literal sense.

Without getting into numbers, I'm at a point where I could pay off my student loan and still be sitting with enough money that I'm comfortable with, both on hand and bankroll. So although I could just leave my roll as is, do what I'm doing, I feel like now is a great time to do a rebuilding challenge.

It gives me a chance to limit my exposure while going through a massive real life financial swing, gives me a chance to work hard on my cash game as well as my SNG game. It puts the two on an even platform, though there is much more for me to learn at cash than SNGs.

I'm leaving exactly 1k on as my online roll. It's split on to one site for cash (480) and Stars for DoNs (520). I have exactly 100 buy-ins overkill for the 5.20 DoNs and plan to move up with 70 buy-ins for each next level. For cash I'll be playing anything I have 40 buy-ins for, and be moving up with 25 for the next level, and down when I hit 20 or lower for the current level.

This puts Supernova off for a bit, but it's not a huge deal. I could still end up getting it this month if things go well. Either way I'm not concerned. I'll still lock it in for the year and I'll satisfy this month's prop bet by getting the volume I need. I'm excited to finish that up so I can focus more readily on cash.
